The swap is finished and running but my so called "solution" for the speed sensor is not working.
What do I use for a speed sensor for a Gen1 control system using a TR3650?

Be sure to add whatever it costs to the total for the swap

The answer to that would be in the stupid simple pbh harness instructions, no?

That is fucked up. Why the hell not? Or did they think you didn't need a working speedo?

It does, but the speed sensor needs to be connected. Look up the 11&up wiring.

Could you expand on what exactly needs to be done using a TR3650 speed sensor and 13-14 battery/trans harness? I have 2012 Mustang Wiring Diagrams on the way

Harness has 3 wire connector for speed sensor. One is +5 volts. IGNORE this wire, and connect the 2 wires from the sensor to the other 2 wires in the harness. (Signal and ground)
Than just calibrate speedo in the tune.
