I don't know how long it's been doing this, but I just noticed it Thursday. When rolling up to a stop I can hear a cyclical kind of clicking sound.

It's not coming from either front wheels.

Clutch pedal pressed or depressed has no effect on it. However, clicking stopped when I put the car back into gear. Can't remember if clutch was depressed or not.

I noticed the end gear clicking change the last stop on my drive home from work thursday. I've been driving my truck ever since.

TOB, slave cylinder? Transmission is a calimer stage 1, 7 months old, I don't beat on my car or race it.

When I go to put the car in gear, as soon as I can start feeling the gear, the noise stops for a split second go into gear it starts again. Release clutch and engage it, noise stops.

So, something with the clutch? Or inside the transmission?

Is it RPM dependent?

I can only hear it under like 20mph, not sure if other noises are drowning it out or it's not there. I need someone with better hearing to ride with me, lol

Does it increase with RPM or with speed? That would help tell if it’s tied to something in the bell housing (clutch, flywheel, TOB) or after (driveshaft, for example)

Does not increase with rpm, it's speed based. I can hear it slowing down as I come to a stop.

Road noise is enough to drown it out to only be audible to be at like 15-20mph and below. Anything above that and I cannot hear it.

Most likely brakes. Roll down a hill with engine off, still bear it?

It's not front brakes. I've already jacked up and spun each front wheel, no noise.

Sounds like cable ties on the driveshaft. Except no one can reach it when the car is on the ground.

It could be the parking cable bracket rubbing against the driveshaft, especially if the car has been lowered. You might see a witness mark on the driveshaft as a telltale sign when you raise the car on a lift for inspection.

Haven't adjusted the height in years, it is pretty low though.

I'll have a look when I get it up in the air for sure
