Door lock problem

hi guys

I know this problem has probably been mentionned but cant find a solution

my driver door wont unlock with the remote neither with the unlock button inside, it lock with the remote and both driver/passenger button

passenger door work just fine.

i tried both remote, i tried replace the door lock actuator but its the same...

any idea ? thank you a lot !!

nope no clicking sound at all, unlock work but no lock

Which is it? won't unlock or wont lock????? Makes a difference. Take the time to inquire clearly rather than in chatter text.

Had the exact same problem you describe. I could lock both doors with the remote and with the inside door lock/unlock switch, but only unlock the driver's door with the key or the inside door handle. It is not a wiring or actuator problem as it is locking. Mine ended up being a bad SJB which had corrosion from a water leak. Pull your SJB, open it up and check for corrosion. If corroded, you'll probably need a new one. I bought a used one from e-bay for $100.

Same issue. If I get SJB from the same year same model does the SJB need to be programmed at a dealership?
