Do you guys keep your door subs connected after installing a sub in the trunk?

I had a new system installed (speakers, processors, amp and 12" sub in trunk) and the installer disconnected the door subs. He said we can reconnect them if I want but I'm unsure if it's a good idea. Do you guys keep the door subs or disconnect the?

I did but my guy did something to them so they don’t act like subs. Not sure what that was

It would help your front stage to leave them intact, when I had a sub in the back of my car I left them and it worked out fine.
