I would, but the stock one functions fine. I just picked up the Edelbrock in addition to an aluminum radiator I have yet to drop in. Wonder if there's a weep hole in the electric model Mezieres?

Or I could get my refund without all that (which is what's already happening) I was just looking for an explanation is all. So issue resolved.

I'll have to look at mine. I have a couple of the meziere pumps. They are awesome and always suggest going electric. Couple of advantages; it runs at full speed when you need it the most, idling in traffic with the ac on. You can run it without the engine on and cool it sown, this is beneficial at the track and I use it between runs. I have my fan and pump set up on auxiliary switches. You can can make back to back runs without running into heat soak.

if... if I have the choice , I use Motorcraft Parts. During the years I owned many many cars.. and my personal experiance is, that the OEM parts most of the time are a well done investment. They fit as they should..and they work as they should work...

Yes, the electric pump would be nice to have. They are pushing $550 now last I checked. I was skeptical years back with the electric stuff, until I gat a Holley blue fuel pump that would fill a swimming pool in so many minutes.

Even if the belt fails in some way, you're still cooled. Then you read all these mixed reviews, "I wouldn't run it on the street!"

Idk, you just can't believe anything anymore. I remembered I was hesitant on ordering my bullet mirrors over similar comments - "These are too small to see out of!"..."These are dangerous!" (complete nonsense) Some like to knock stuff for whatever reason simply because it's out of their price range.

I would think there would be some kind of fail safe though if the motor crapped in it, like a weep hole or similar. The toggle switches are a nice touch in addition to the labeling. Plus that panel is nothing to lose sleep over I think for putting a drill to it (easy pick up piece of plastic)

Pretty much true for the majority of stuff. Then there's a number of things like the factory rear control arms, alternator (or the shifter for that matter) which are ill-designed. I couldn't stand the rubbery feeling factory shifter at all. Even when I got a replacement Hurst short-throw (it sill seemed way too short on the handle) I just popped on a super-shifter from some dilapidated 80s muscle car build (perfect height)

Don't do the the '83 Mustang curved handle Hurst btw (saw that somewhere posted before) way too much leverage for the 3650.
