Had a busy couple of days. The used alternator arrived and, awesomely, was immediately outputting 14.5v. After letting the car sit with the battery unplugged to clear the codes (didn't have my laptop with me) the engine is running exceptionally well. No CELs. Sadly, the air conditioning is only working about half of the time.
Thankfully, that doesn't matter anymore. The car is good enough that I already have a buyer lined up who's getting a great deal on a good car. It'll help me because I won't be dropping another dime into this thing and hopefully my friend gets the a/c fixed affordably. He's going to be taking it somewhere after we do the transfer paperwork.

I really appreciate all of y'all being very helpful. I'm glad that, in the end, it only took TWO () alternators to help out. Hopefully the a/c is a grounding thing or something. I did notice that output is 13.4v with the compressor spinning. And again the issue is that the compressor doesn't always do that, even when requested by the PCM.

Now it's time for me to go back to being an annoying Focus owner. I'm hoping to go pick up a loaded SES on Sunday, but only time will tell what happens.
Overall, I am very happy to say that I did own a Mustang for a while, and I had a lot of fun. Just isn't for me. Maybe if it hasn't sat for so long before I got it. Not bad for a thousand bucks though!
