They added covers to block part of the intercooler. I removed the cover and drilled a weep hole which junk comes out of and added a UPR mega catch can with clean side separator, lot of junk comes out of the charge air. Warm temps not so much but winter the condensation I can take off a water bottle worth every 300 or so miles.
Likewise direct injection issue they get buildup on valves since no fuel washing them. Not sure how much impact really having
Yes timing chain issue, although some argue it's only startup noise and not a problem. I'm at 86k and may have heard few times when its sat for days
I probably average 15mpg in a 2013 supercab loaded fx4 leveled on 275/60/20 (33") but I drive a lot of hills and do 75 on the highway
