FROM 2005 to 2010 engine

Wanna swap engine from my 2005 v6 4.0 to a 2010. Been told they're perfectly compatible. Anything I should know?

The '05 & '10 4.0 V6 long blocks will interchange, but have you considered a V8 swap instead?

Compare location and style of sensors...be prepared to change them over if different.
If the car is a manual trans, the flywheel will be different. Somewhere in '07, Ford started using a dual-mass flywheel. The 2 can be interchanged, but must be done as a set (flywheel/pressure plate/clutch disc).
