Which front strut tower brace will fit with a m90 Roush supercharger installed
2 of the steeda STB's will easily fit over the Roush M90. At least on my 2010 GT......which has a Roush M90. I mentioned that to steeda, who posted it on their site years ago. It's a superb STB...and is bolted on each side with all 4 x bolts...... instead of the usual 2 per side as used by other brands of STB's. The stb's with only 2 of the inboard studs used...use slotted holes, and very little torque. Done that way since the length is fixed.

Steeda uses all 4 on each side, since the steeda STB is adjustable in length. Each end of the steeda stb has a locking nut assy, with one end being reverse threaded. Another big advantage of the steeda stb is...... with either end disconnected, the entire STB will pivot upwards. We used this to our advantage when the bigger FRPP twin 62mm Throttle body was installed. STB disconnected on driver's side...and entire stb lifted up, to allow for clearance.

The steeda stb clears the hood...and also the Roush M90 blower. However, it just barely touches the rubber CAI tube assy, where it connects to the TB. However, later on when I had JBA ceramic coated LT's installed, I also installed steeda new eng mounts, which allow for a.... stock - 1/4" - 1/2" - 3/4" eng height reduction. We used the 1/4" reduction, so now their is a definite gap between stb and rubber cai.

I'm looking on their website and I can't find the ones you're telling me about. Do you know part#?

The Ford Boss 302 strut brace (I think it was on many other cars too) fits great. It's close, especially near the TB, but it clears fine.

The Ford Boss 302 strut brace originally came out in 2010. ( It was called a 2010 stb). In 2011, it was re-used to go over the top of the much higher oem manifold on the 2011 3.7 L V6. ( The 2011+ 5.0 coyote engs got the almost dead flat stb). When the boss 302 came out, it was re-named the boss 302 stb.

I bought the boss 302 STB for my 2010.... but this was before I installed the Roush M90 blower. With the blower installed, the Boss 302 STB would NOT clear the CAI / TB. On the 2010 Roush M90 setup, the CAI + TB is on the driver's side....and CAI is really short...and blower elbow is also on the driver's side. That eliminated the mile long.....'anaconda snake' . Sold the boss 302 stb to a local buddy for his 2008 GT ( no blower) and it fits just fine.

Plan B, I found 2 of the steeda brand STB's that would clear the blower / cai / tb on my 2010 with M90. I just checked, and neither of them are no longer made...too bad.
