The issue is can a 5 liter make more the 500HP at the crank and have less the 10% driveline drag?

Why is this an issue?
The first part is obviously yes, the second part is just chassis dyno bench racing bullshit, who cares?

With a good driver, track times tell the real story. But I tend to believe that dyno, gen 3 coyotes are no joke whether stock or tuned.

I had to research this "BMW 100hp/liter 'law'", and it is BS. Oh, and Ferrari blew that out of the water 50 some years or so ago. Enzo said: aerodynamics are for ppl who don't know how to build engines! lol, classic.
The S2000 Honda car, remember those? is rated at 130hp/liter if I remember correctly.
My 412 rated hp engine put 409 to the wheels. Must have one efficient driveline, or its making more than it is rated at. lol You pick which.
As it has been pointed out, its bench racing BS.
