new guy here and not to savy on how to use my cell phone instead of laptop to see and post threads...what do I do? I went to this site on my cell phone but didn't see a way to join. I want to post some pics/info on the 05 mustang I'm building. I turned a wrecked s197 into a pickup...as far as I know it's the only custom built mustang widebody "truck" out there. thanks
umm... the fact that you can post indicates that you joined... use the browser on your phone to navigate to the Pictures sub-forum. https://www.s197forum.com/forums/pictures-and-videos.32/ then use the create new thread hyper-link
Thank you, but I joined using my laptop. When I went to this site on my cell phone I didn't see any place to log in or sign up. If somebody can walk me through getting this site setup on my cell phone and show me how to navigate it with my cell phone...post threads, post pictures on my threads etc. that would be great. It will be much easier to post pictures from my cell phone rather than from my lap top since the pics are already on my cell phone. If nobody helps then I guess I'm SOL...and will look for another site thanks.
If u use the browser on your phone it’s the same as being on the laptop. Just login https://www.s197forum.com/ look on the right side of the page for the login link
I am assuming that you have a smartphone. You can download that Tapatalk app and it is a bit easier to navigate forums Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
And...don't post pics of your S197 truck conversion b/c it sounds like a frank-n-stein car. JK, interested to see this 'stang-truck.
Iceman62 lol...yes it probably sounds like a frank-n-stein car . I got this 05 from a young kid a few blocks from me...it was rear-ended real hard...nothing left of the trunk area (up to the rear window), just a lot of wrinkled-up sheet metal but it ran good and the interior was still in good shape and I hated to waste a good running Mustang. It sat in my back field for almost a year before I decided to "do something" to it. The rearend was shoved over to the right almost an inch bending the panhard bar and the drivers side subframe. I'm a fabricator but never took-on a sheetmetal job like this! I went through 4 tall bottles of gas for my mig welder, 2.5 sheets of steel (18 and 16 gauge) for the rearend and widebody fenders and front spoiler etc. It's now almost ready for paint...started last January. I figured on building it into a Mustang Mini-Flatbed at first but the more work I did to it, the more I wanted lol and got carried away in fabrication. I'm retired and it has given me a lot to do lol. I'll try and figure out how to manipulate this site in getting pics on here...it's a bitch getting old! peace
If I ever get pics on here I am hoping you guys and gals can help me give it a name...what to call it .
