I want to do a street/strip car here in the near future. Something that will go way in the 7's. BIG BIG BB with a screw blower and a couple of carbs on e85 is one of the options.

Or a BIG BIG BB with a carb or two and nitrous.

I am working in Austin this week so I dropped the ID2000s of at a local shop to be tested and flowed. I should have them back tomorrow, if they test good then I will proceed with testing the CKP sensor and dig in more there. Manuel tells me its like the car is hitting a limiter in the logs, so Im thinking it may be something electrical at this point. He is going to help me do some logging this weekend to try to get to the bottom of it. If that don't work then I will let my buddy at my Ford dealer trouble shoot the issue possibly. This is the first time I have a motor so lean at idle, the headers get hot fast even at idle.

I just remembered a problem we had on a injector at work, we found a pin on a plug had slid back from the pin lock and only made occasional contact. Just a thought.

I think this is more then a single injector issue. Its like hitting a rev limiter. That is why I swapped the COPs back to factory. I have never had an issue with my MSD COPs but there are story's, ya know.

I had to test the injectors since they are used. You never know!

That's the shame of it. It's "worth" a lot more than that. I've sold all sorts of stuff over the years for $.25 on the $1.00. In most cases I should have kept it/them.

You know how it is then, if its running there is no reasonable amount of money that can take the car, but if you are having a week like I am, a 15' with a polished Whipple at 10-12 psi sounds like a lot more fun!

drop your motor/tranny in his car to test the harness lol.. then make him put it all back together

Just have Lito make a tune for it that won't open the TB more than 25% for when he drives it. It will be like valet mode

Then you can set goals for him. If you get this grade you get 10 more HP. If you get this grade you get 15 more HP. If you stay out late you lose 5 HP. Get a girl preggers.........gets a Prius. Man, that would be the best behaved kid in the world!

And when you drive it you get the full 450!

Sometimes I wonder how many "Prius" I may have running around out there that I don't know about. Scary thought. So is driving a Prius
