Nice. What art the details of the wheels? Width, backspacing, brand etc.
Don't know about Mick Mach, but I'll be putting those same M&H tires on 17x9s (45mm offset).

Hey Mick... please PM me John's phone number. Thanks.

You will like how they hook after you get a couple of passes on them.....

Mick,
How close are you on the inside of the wheelwell? Specifically to the axle snubber pad, LCA brackets & upper inner wheelwell. Don't need exact measurements - just wondering if you can fit a finger or two between the tire & those spots.
I was ready to pull the trigger on the 275/50, but now may go for the 325/45's if they'll fit.
Thanks,
Tim

Keep in mind, the M&H run small. Compare the specs of it versus my curent street tire (Nitto 450 275/50-17):

M&H 325/45-17: Dia = 28.0", tread width = 10.3", section width = 12.1"

Nitto 450 275/50-17: Dia = 27.9", tread width = ~10", overall width = 11.1"

Not much difference there.

yes my 275 Sumittoes(SP) are wider than these but the contact patch is the same at 9.5"

Are these pretty equal in performance compared to some ET Streets...

I think they are better, because they do not have that "sway" on the big end, they are very stable. Also, with your mods and a 3000 converter, there is no way your going to spin a 325 M&H. I was squeezing a 150 shot right out of the hole and hooking dead up with these things 1.584 60'.

Hmmm what about axle breakage. Would I be okay with a CHE Axle brace, and the rest of the CHE line up....

With regards to the stock rearend, the first thing you will have to worry about down the road is probably the factory posi. That is usually the first thing to go. Mine is still good though, although I only have a 200 passes at the track---but I do also have 61K street driven miles to.

I grabbed about 10 runs the other night for the first time and got right at 16,000 miles on it. Luckily my car is N/A so hopefully no worries. What the hell, I'll go for it and try some M&H's over the ET Streets probably. 325 is just gonna look soooo bad ass!!!!

An axle brace isn't going to keep you from breaking an axle...but Don's right, you're not likely to break an axle N/A anyway. I say put the tires on, load up the converter and let 'er rip!
