Only a few grabber blues around here so I figured I'd contribute to a build thread in the appropriate section, instead of hogging of my thread in the Chit-Chat. Plus who doesn't like looking at S197 Pics right?

Alright, I traded in my '05 Mustang GT that was custom pained "Midnight Blue Met" , Hints the name 'Midniteblue' , with a few bolt ons in on a 2011 Mustang GT Premium. The '05 had 85,000 miles on it and still looked like I had just bought it.

I knew hardly anything when I had first bought the '05 about mustangs. I just knew that I was young and it was pretty and fast. Since Then, I have gained so much knowledge and character just being around Mustangs. Met alot of great people along the way and had alot of great times.

Growing older into the mustang world, I said "Man I gotta get this 5.0" . And almost a year of searching for the perfect five ohh, I found her in Dulles, VA in May.

Car had 11,000 Miles on it and the GT Accessory Pkg 1 w/ comfort package. Here's how she looked when I brought it home,

Thanks guys, yeah rims/tires on next on my list. Just gotta wait for payday haha. I really want those black gloss Forgestars, but at 399 a wheel it'd be almost 3 grand out the door just for wheels/tires .

I'm thinking going 19" AMRs with Nitto NT555s .

Installed
-GT\CS Front Fascia
-Boss 302 Splitter

Ordered and should be here later this week
-Saleen Grille
-HIDs for lower fogs and Headlights from DDMTuning
-Grabber Blue Caliper Paint
-5.0L Emblem for the Saleen Grille

Also Experimented with some plastidip with my wheels, 5.0 emblems, fog lights and the pony, turned out pretty well. The plastidip on the wheels are only temp until I order new wheels\tires. I just couldn't stand looking at the polished aluminum any longer.

Also bought a Steeda CAI in the Classifieds from slvr08gt for a sick deal, just waiting to pair with a Boss 302 Intake and Tune later this month.

Installed the Saleen Grille that I ordered from LateModelRestoration.com.

Plasti-Dipped the back clips since I know you can see bright color paint through the grille.

I love the look a lot better than factory. I also wasn't aware you had to drill a hole through the bumper to close a gap since it juts out farther then stock. Made me cringe while I was doing it.

Now new Wheels/Tires and the Boss 302 intake w/ tune are next on the list.

^^ yeah 3k for Forgestars wheels with tires. I was gonna go 305 out the back on a 20x11 wheel but with the RTRs they are only a 9.5 wheel so only 285 out the back.

I really want a set of Forgestars but I just don't have the budget for 3 grand worth of wheels and tires. I'm lookin at black RTRs, AMRs or Drifts with a set of Nitto 555s.

F14s? DO IT!! I had to cut back on my drinking for awhile to get mine.

I think I've decided on these,

avant310blk.jpg

They are different and not as pricey ($700 less) .
20x8.5 w/ Nitto NT555 255/35/20
20x10 w/ Nitto NT555 285/30/20
Wheels from elementwheels.com
Tires from Discounttiredirect.com

Gonna order them here in a few weeks when I get the cash. What do you guys think?
