Underbody is great. Only found 2 minor spots that have rust. It doesn't even have suface rust on most of the underside. Crazy!!

So you'll take it? Lol

Add a zero! lol!

Very nice. Great find.

Good save sir! Pretty damn clean.

Thanks!

Already got it running last week.

A good project.. last one I drug home was a basket case.. this car is a cherry

That doesn't look bad for sitting in a field for 5 years.

It's almost unbelievable that it's sit there for 5 years as good of shape that its in, especially considering the below quote: Howerver, with the paint being that shiny it's definitely a been restored before.

Underbody is great. Only found 2 minor spots that have rust. It doesn't even have suface rust on most of the underside. Crazy!!

Good find, I'm not a huge fan of 65 and 66's but cheap enough I'd pick one up.. Especially if I could find one in that good of shape. :boobies:

Very nice, I wish I could score a find like that.

Biggest thing that would get me with that car is what to do about the motor. Sbf and carb? New tech mod or coyote? Or keep the straight 6 for nostagia?

I would have a hard time keeping the original engine in a beauty like that. Even if it was a 289. New 302 long block with a simple carb set up would be sweet.

How are the strut towers? That's also an area that gets dodgy over the years.

Got it wsahed up the other night:

Old brakes:

I'm replacing all four wheel cylinders and front 2 brake hoses.
It got dark on me yesterday, so no installed pics.

Got new tires yesterday. Actually got them from Ford and installed at Ford. Pretty cool considering the project they are going on. I'm still in shock that I actually bought 14" tires...lol!

Plan as of now:

Try to get it running, driving and stoppping before a big show we have next weekend.
I would like to just be able to cruise around for a while and enjoy it, before it goes in for it's grown up parts.

Future plan:

EFI 302
T-5
8.8
Disc brakes
and countless other mods..lol.

I already have most of the future parts. I'm going to gather everything and work on the details for all the conversions.

They look great. Honestly, this one is like a time capsule!
