Hello everyone !
Im new here, as I have Mustang since years but classic one :)

I need advise before buying decision of my friend. Today we looked on the MY14 GT with track pack. Car has impact on left front end, so light, bumper and fender was changed. Driver doors and airbags was ok. According pics frame was not touched. Unfortunately one rim with MCPerson was replaced as well. Seller told us that he bought used one whole McPerson column and just changed it. He didn't made wheel alignment.
Now, car drives really nice and straight. There is no visible modification of suspension - all looks OEM, but issue is that this wheel looks moved to the back:

I know that the Best will be check all car alignment and measurement points, but what can cause such issue ?

- is McPerson for track pack different then standard in GT ?
- Does wheel alligment can cause it ? So it can be fixed by aligment rod.

Just thinking if mounting points of suspension frame was moved anyway can he install new McPerson with control arm ? Or maybe it is issue with control arm ..

Good catch...Take it into a collision center and have it inspected/measured. Likely Lower Control Arm bent/pushed back.. hopefully nothing worse but better to check and be sure than find out later that frame/other damage occurred. LCA is easy to replace provided frame mounting points line up. I'd do both sides at the same time if that's the only issue.

IMO, if something is bent to move the wheel that much, it would be obvious to the naked eye.
If the steering is straight ahead in that pic, i would suspect lower arm issue, or the wheel is turned a bit to the left. (excessive toe out would make it drive straight and chew up front tires)
Is this a troll post?

Thank you guys for suggestions ! Lower arm - make sense, as it same/OEM after accident, maybe it is not straight. Guy who repaired it just change McPerson, so he reuse all suspension + front dish. I am not sure if it is correct as track pack has diff part numbers of it.
Car finally was bought by my friend. Good price, GT and track pack made him quick decision :). Except front left car has original paint.
First we gone check wheel alignment on Hunter and compare lower arms left-right. Checking frame with factory measurement points is also an option but more complex as it is harder to find such station with data and equipment.

Could also be the Hub/Bearing assembly that the control arm and strut attach to.

Nothing different about the track pack suspension. They all use the exact same design control arms and struts. The K-member the lower control arm bolts to could be bent, control arm could be bent, possibly the strut but you should be able to see any of this with the wheels off and the front elevated. Compare to the side not crashed, take some measurements to compare.

First off something is truly bent. likely you won't see it visually. Struts are a consumable item and should never acquire a used one, new ones (installed in pairs) are same cost, but are not worn out. Next off in the shop when repairing these covered by insurance, they get new lower control arm, strut and bearing 100% of the time, it is automatic from insurance companies. The DIY fix done skated around that proper repair.
