When i first was playing with Livelink, I was like a little kid trying to figure it out. I also got it when it was not really known nor even on the SCT website. (the days before mail order tuning was even thought of) Took awhile to figure it out. Still don't know everything. Why I leave that to the tuner's. LOL

That was a lot of fun last night, it was very cool to see the data as a graph instead of just numbers. Its certainly nice to have someone in the passenger seat doing all the logging too. When we were done we went to the mall and held hands.

Damn it Kevin, that was supposed to be special!

I've data logged my stang and VW by myself a few times by myself and it sucks. The VW software is 1000X better than any Ford stuff I've seen.

Steve, that wasn't livewire. I used to use livewire, but don't you find it to run really slow? My laptop isn't the greatest but this new stuff worked well. And I leave the tuning to the pro's, no doubt. But I do the data logging myself to see how well they did :)

Yea I gotcha. I just noticed the small blimp there on the RPM's. Its on the road so it must have been a bump or slight slip? Maybe I should have him turn off his traction control next time just in case.

Yea there's a way to plot RPM on the X axis but its not easy. If I can export the data to excel, I can make much nicer graphs. When i get some time...

The snow is not going to come for 2 reasons.

1) I cant take my vert out due to the rear window, because of this we've had an awesome winter. As soon as I try to take it out it'll snow 6'

2) I just replaced the tires on the DD from summers to all-seasons, mostly for better snow traction. Because of this it will not snow again

You're welcome

Also Steve,

CJ Springs... Worth it to grab a set if I plan on tracking the car a bunch this season?

Negative on the springs and I also bought snow tires. I think the effect is combined.

Its sucks buying the tires and it sucks for us driving with them, but it would have been a lot suckier if we didn't have them and needed them. Mine are just wearing down like crazy, but at least I don't get into a panic when the weather people try to threaten us with snow.

So before I post this in the for sale thread here, I'll give you guys a chance. I have an extra UPR Catch can(closed system). If you don't believe it works, you are welcome to come over and I will open mine and show you the oil in it and I emptied it not long before I put the car away. Its definitely worth the money. I used to get oil in the intake hose and does bleed towards the filter eventually. Have not had any since I got mine. Here's the one I'm selling. UPR sells them for $100. If you are really serious, shoot me a PM and we'll talk about price :)

Here's the link:

The only difference with this one is that the fittings are not 5/8", they are 3/8" I believe. You can get the fittings at a hardware store or just you an adapter in the tubing. This one is never used, brand new.

Here's pics of Mine:

Also, this is a closed system catch can. If you haven't touch your stock setup, you'll be fine with this even if you're tuned. They say you're supposed to have the tune tweaked if you run an open system(like with a breather). So for most of us this will serve its purpose, look nice and not screw up the tune.

Here's what mine looks like:
