Since I'm 0 for 3 in those categories, I guess I'm not old enough yet. :thumb:
Maybe your Alzheimers is preventing you from remembering that you have those problems.

Montreal Qc,
We are, and I would too, but it's just not in some people's budgets. Our race cars and race truck is still going to be using the thumper, we're not ripping them off to install these. I'll still be pushing Peter's stuff hardcore because it's a kick ass piece.

Roush tensioners are $189.00 through JDM for these first 100 units. Pricing will go up significantly after that.

Thumper_RR has increased pricing to $425.00 and the billet pulley is standard now.
I was made aware of this thread last night by a customer of mine who asked me why we have increased our pricing to $425.00.

To be perfectly clear we increased our retail price by exactly $15.00 to $365.00 to reflect the addition of the 76mm billet idler pulley.
If you wish to sell them for $425 to your customers that's your business but please don't blame me for it.

It is 425 after you add in the JDM fee haha

Sorry Peter, when we first started selling these we sold them for exactly what you did, $350, so I assumed when I was told the billet pulley has increased pricing to $425 that you had done the same. I will inquire as to why we're doing that but I think 94 hit the nail on the head.

Nope, just trying to keep our doors open. Unfortunately, a lot of stuff is going to be going up bit by bit (labor rate 89 to 99 for example). It's the nature of the beast.

all the more reason I got my work done down south and by PMP

their work is second to none for quality and labor rates down there are cheaper than up here

Yeah when I go down to see family in GA or Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach it is a completely different type of life down there. Some things I love about it, some I hate. The cost of living is a lot lower, but then again are the wages.

Hey Chris, I received my tensioner. Well, Adam did since you sent it there instead of here. Anyways, he said that the pulley on it will not support an 8 rib belt as you said it would. Also, he said that the tensioner will actually have to be machined to accept an 8 rib pulley. A 6 rib only tensioner is useless to me. That is why I specifically asked you before buying. Any input??

When you put an 8 rib belt onto the tensioner, it's exactly the correct size. Does he have any pictures or any other input to support his opinion?

He held an 8 rib onto the pulley and with it lined up even with the back it is onto the curved part in the front. It "may" work with everything alligned perfectly. It is not right for an 8 rib setup however. Not gonna work for me unless we can get a bit wider pulley onto it.
