Oil Level Sensor

Mine started to leak where the wire plugs in (left side of pan).
Can anyone confirm this is for the light on the dash ONLY?

I don't recall anything in the tune referencing this sensor. And since I don't have a working low oil light, I would like to plug it. (20mm x1.5)

I believe that's an oil temp sensor (according to Lito). On my car it's on the passenger side (2006).

It is definitely a level switch on the coyote. Both pins connect to the pcm. I was wondering if disconnecting it (an plug hole w/drain plug) would cause some kind of limp mode. I saw nothing in the SCT tuning software about this. No Pcodes associated with it. I suspect it is only for a warning light.
Guess I have to see what happens if I unplug it.
