So i disengaged the clip (have it partway out)...but the line seems to be stuck pretty good in the master cylinder. How much force does it take to remove?

I pulled the pin completely out and the hydraulic line pulled right out. All the fluid in the reservoir came out also.

I got some of the fluid out of the reservoir with a baster...so I'm hoping not as much will come out. That fluid is old as hell anyway.

Remove the clip completely. To re-install have the clip on and just pop the line on. Make sure you feel it snap into place.

Every time I've done this I put a couple rags down there to cover the holes the clip might fall into and get lost forever. I also have a mechanics pick in one hand to pull on the clip and a magnet in the other hand to catch the clip.

I got the clips pulled out on both ends and the line came right out. Couple of the install instructions I read made it sound like the clip did not have to be removed, guess now I know.
