Not sure if this is the correct place to put this. Sorry if it's the wrong place but here goes...

This question would be for someone who is familiar with working on a salvage titled car.

I'm looking to get me a project car and am looking at a few salvage titled cars that need some tlc to get road worthy again. Looking for a Mustang between the years of '11 and '14. Just to let it be known, I have restored a salvage titled car and got the rebuilt title on it, an '04 Mustang GT so I know the basics of how to get it done. Some of the cars I'm looking at have had airbags deployed so I'm kind of looking ahead to ready myself on what I might need to do if I should get one that has had the airbags deployed. I did not have to deal with any airbag issues with the '04 so it would be new to me in replacing them. I know you can replace the steering wheel one with a new one. I believe if the side seat ones have deployed, you'd need to replace the whole seat? Also, would there be any other sensors or anything else I need to look out for while doing this?

If an Air Bag was deployed minimally you would need to replace the bags depolyed and verify that the SRS system is functioning properly.
