Seems I have some "fun" times ahead. Took my car to get an alignment this morning and the shop guy took me into the bay to show me that the lower ball joints, control arm bushings, and inner tie rods are pretty shot and they can't do an alignment until it's fixed (replaced outer tie rod ends and strut mounts last month). I'll be ordering a new steering rack and GT500 lower control arms, which are less expensive and a LOT less hasle than replacing ball joints and bushings. I'm not at the "critical failure" stage yet and will have the new parts sometime next week. Since I'll have everything apart is there anything I should keep an eye out for, tricks I should know, or other things I might want to do while I'm in there?

If you're lowered, a bump steer kit is helpful. They're basically taller, stronger, outer tie rod ends. Since you're down there anyway, can only help.
