Hi Guys /Gals I need some help I've been trying to rid myself of a knocking noise under my car coming from both front and rear. I've replaced the ENTIRE suspension system as it was completely worn out when I got the car yet I've still got noise. I've narrowed it down to the sway bar and have replaced the bushing with poly ones yet the noise remains. I'm at my wits end and need someone to tell me how to get rid of the F*** noise !!!

Try tightening the end links a bit more. Good 'n tight often isn't good enough. You have to get them pretty snug with the 8mm wrench holding the stud before the final torquing to 85 ft/lbs-otherwise they will spin freely with the torque wrench.
If that doesn't help, you may need to replace the end links.

Did you replace the sway bar end links on the front? I've had other vehicles make noises over bumps and that fixed them.

YES I did replace the swaybar end links in both the front and rear but the ones i put up front weren't the best in quality they were dorman I think. I'd be greatful for any recommendation on better end links

After I replaced the struts, I had lots of problems to tighten the nuts from the end links at the strut. They came loose again. I replaced them with the newer Ford revision (old from 2007, new 2011?) and I'm happy with them. You can hold them with open end wrench from the back and the new nuts are so big that they should not come loose again.

Dorman is not a bad manufacturer. Sounds like you need to go over everything you replaced and make sure they are properly torqued. Sway Bar Links are the worst. They might feel tight but you still need another half turn or so to really max out the adjustment.

And torque those end links while the suspension is loaded. I know that is tricky with the wheel off but I jack up both sides from under the A-arms until the frame just starts to lift off the jack stands and then tighten them. Well I used to do it like that. Now I don't have a front bar so it's been a while.

I don't typically plug any one manufacturer, but I've learned to trust nothing but Moog for these kinds of parts. They have what they refer to as a "gusher bushing" in their ball joints and sway bar links that is supposed to have superior lubricating properties. I've used their stuff on at least 5 vehicles with great results.

Moog is surely an excellent product. It always has been for O.E. replacement. Alot of the Performance vendors have great products also because they don't get cheap with bushings.
