TCS inoperable...more than one fuse location?

After changing my center stack radio surround, the TCS button no longer works and I have confirmed (with the 8" of unprecedented snow in Baton Rouge, La.) the system is disabled, in real time (via wheelspin). I plugged the old stack back in and same. I found the passenger kick panel fuse and it's OK. Any other places to check?

Would be easier if you have some codes to narrow down possible culprits. Since it worked before you messed with the radio surround I'm going to assume you have a wiring/connection/switch/fuse or ground issue.

ABS description and operation: https://iihs.net/fsm/?d=123&f=Anti-Lock Control.pdf&p=1

Here's a few tests for the switch:

If you can't figure it out might be worthwhile to have a tech scan it to help diagnose the trouble area.

Try bypassing the button. Start from there then trace the wiring and see where you loose or connect to power.

You want the TCS..... OFF when in snow / ice. Otherwise you will just trash the brakes.

Just scanned, no codes.
Hi Blue03Cobra,

What scan tool did you use?

FYI..........the ABS module is on the MSCAN side on 05-10 MY S197's, not the HSCAN side (ABS module comms directly to PCM on a dedicated HSCAN bus, not thru the DLC. All PCM side VSS-related DTC's are set by Ford in PCM OS to not report errors off this dedicated HSCAN bus....only VSS Signal Out of Range-P1501--but won't light a MIL due to PCM is checking the dedicated HSCAN comms between PCM & ABS module during KOEO prior startup, then usually clears once the ABS module reports VSS signals to PCM from wheels rolling, sorry).......thus you'll need a scan tool that can scan the ABS module thru the DLC over the MSCAN bus, like Forscan or other mid-level scan tools that can access the ABS module over MSCAN bus side thru DLC to see if any DTC's exist in the ABS module.

Now as far as the TCS button\switch is concerned........this is most likely your concern (assuming that TC was operational prior front bezel removal) as this switch is located on the front bezel that also covers the radio so if you disconnected this switch R&R'ing the radio\bezel then reconnected it & now found TC not working, it most likely is here.

TCS signals thru the IC then IC comms over the MSCAN bus to ABS module (MSCAN\HSCAN bridge is located in IC) ..................

Wiring diagram here: https://iihs.net/fsm/?d=40&f=Instrument Cluster.pdf&p=2

Hope this helps.
