Welding/Filling in Plastic?

Maybe DIY, maybe chit chat who knows.

Anyways, looking to see about getting this little hole filled in on my headlight. Was thinking either Plastic Weld by JBWeld or a plastic welder? Maybe solder? Not sure. Seems to be a chip or something either from a rock or something getting caught between the headlight and hood.

First photo is the whole top view of the headlight, second is a zoomed in. It's a chip large enough that it's an actual hole.

Kind of overkill but this stuff is awesome! Was recommended it by a body shop to repair a crack in my bumper. Sandable and paintable...

This is what I have done in the past for plastics.

If your only concern is keeping water out then just put a dab of RTV on it. It's not visible so you don't need a paintable, smooth finish. That's a 15 second fix and forget about it.
