What would YOU do for an engine build in my situation?

It's big money now for any type of build. I have seen my build plans change or dissolve repeatedly. Hope your getting close.

Yeah, it's definitely not cheap. The build is still on but going slow. I did finally get my crank specific oil pump for the MMR 4.75 crank though. So now I can actually send the block off for sleeves and assembly. That'll be a while though, unfortunately.

Over Christmas I did do some work to the mustang, but not anything specific for the 3v swap. Redid the whole front end basically. Brand new tubular K member, tubular control arms, tie rods and outer ends, steering rack, and shocks. I have new rear shocks and control arms to put on aswell.

Next step is to send block out for sleeves at a minimum. I may have TKM assemble everything, but then again I can save some money by doing it myself. Guess I'll cross that bridge when I get there. I'll keep updating the thread as I progress, but it'll be months before I will want to and/or can afford to do anything.

I'm trying to wrap my head around 8500 rpm. Even 7k rpm is nuts. Highest I saw on a coyote eng was 7.2k rpm.
If it blows up on you, then what ?

For 650 RWHP you're gonna need about 15 lbs of boost. My 2009 Bullitt had 653RWHP. I had a stroked 5.0 long block, stage 3 Livernois heads, GT500 fuel system and a VMP tuned blower. Tons of other stuff as well, was over $70k all in.

Here's Justin working on my tune.

And it wasn't spinning 8500 rpm either. Maybe 6500 rpm tops.

Ive found out even with a perfectly good engine with a bent con rod, I have ran a bill of just over $5000 on a stock re-build. Can only imagine what something like this costs:eek:
