I'm upgrading my stock 16s to 18s bc I bent two on the FDR drive. I narrowed down to two- both have decent tires that come with. I have an 07 convertible P3 blue. Help me choose. Chrome ones have almost new tires so I'm leaning towards those. Then gonna get em roadforce balanced.

The first set look like SUV rims to me (aspect ratio on the tires too), so I'd go for the 2nd set

You sure that 1st pic is right? Those are 6 lug too

Thanks for pointing that out. I just got back from Brentwood, LI had looked at some 19s but passed. It was a 2-hour drive there. Want to replace this weekend bc I drive 100 miles to work each day in her and it's like driving on rocks with those bent rims.

275/65/18 might be too tall and cause rubbing issues.

Just checked...the 275/65/18 is just over 32" tall.
The 235/50/18 is just over 27".
That's a 5" difference in diameter.

The first set pictured is F150 wheels and tires. I just bought that exact same size tire for my 2021 F150. The wheels are from an 18-20 F150.

Those Bulitt wheels look hot on your Mustang, those are the ones I wanna get. I found 17" reconditioned OEM from eBay and 18" American Muscle wheels. Should I go with the OEM or AM. Would 255/50/18 fit in the wheel well?

Thanks. Are the American Muscle rims a better choice bc they’re new, vs the oem reconditioned rims? I’m still on the fence as to which rims to buy. Going to go with the 45s if I go with the 18s.

Have seen a Mini with painted Tire letters on it and it looked great.
Why is it so rare?

Get 18'' to have an brake upgrade option and do not increase the overall wheel size, larger wheels lower the brake effectiveness (bigger lever at the calipers)

I think the 2005-2009 body style look best with 17" or 18" (my preference) my son has a 2014 3.7L we oicked up 2013 19" PP wheels and they look awesome. Your 20" look great on your car, for me side wall to short and with streets the way they are to me the ride suffers. Get what you want, you only have to satisfy yourself. :happythumbs:

What you have to watch out for with the AM wheels is they're cheap chinesium and they don't always spin true. I got a set a coupl years ago that I had to return because when you put them on the hub and spun them, you could see pretty visible runout on them. Luckily my shop gave me a heads up about it before I ordered them so I didn't mount any tires until I checked them out first. I ened up exchanging a couple, the replacements came back just as bad, and I decided to cut my losses and just return the whole set. There was dirt trapped in the clearcoat too. Thanks for the heads-up on the AM rims. Yeah, I guess they're cheap for a reason. I'm gonna get the reconditioned OEM alloy wheels but putting that off until the winter's over. I am picking up a set of Bridgestone Blizzaks 235/50/18 tomorrow from marketplace, they're off of a 2020 Mustang. Hoping they fit, bringing my 2-ton floor jack with me..

They should fit just fine. I believe that wheel is actually an 8" (40mm offset) instead of the 8.5" (50mm offset) that was stock on the 07 GT. Offset is a little different, I presume to keep the wheel face close to where it is on the 8.5".

It is a nice looking wheel.
