^^^ great mph. 132 mph is pretty good. Thats 10.0Xs with a drag race setup, but I am assuming you are a street car/daily driver--in which case thats not bad at all. And the DA......I bet the DA wasn't like the east coast boys have it.

Thanks! Not quite a DD, I do want to look into more suspension work to help things out. Just has LCA's now, have a pair of QA1 singles I can put in. The car nosedives/bounces like crazy between shifts.

^^^NICE! Love the mph in both the 1/8th and the 1/4. 162+ woo hoo!! I would say your 60' should be in the mid 1.2Xs, but then, you are doing it on a 275 DR, where as I am on a 10.5W slick, so that is not really fair.

My trannys first gear is low and to much wheel speed is killing me now with drag radials. Its been 1.26s on old tune up and blower. With this new found power, we are having to pull a bunch to get it out of the hole.

Ah, makes sense. I only mph 159, in a lighter car (I am assuming), so you know I have less power, and I 60' a 1.27 with a 1.80 first gear. 29.5 rear tire, 4.11 gear.

I think this came up in another thread--can you go with a numerically lower first gear in the 4R100? What rear gear are you running now?

Im checking on a custom made gear for tranny, none i know of yet. Rear gear is 3.73 with a 28'' tall tire, may even end up going to a 3.55, car weighed 3590 with me in it. My base legal weight for renegade is 3475, so i def need to get more weight out.

Not wanting to swap trannys yet but i know i could lose another 100lbs by going to a th400

nice JD, we are swapping to a 400 this week, hoping that can get the 1.32/1.34 60's down.

real curious now that they are going to give us radials what will happen.

I added the optic armor, it was only worth about 30lbs :( was hoping for a little more than that.

I think everyone will go faster on the radials for sure. Im hoping to get another 20-25 lbs out this week. I got one of those snazzy carbon fiber race seats, its about 20lbs lighter than my Corbeau. Im also putting a smaller intercooler tank where the passenger seat was at, may lose a few lbs there. After joliet a fuel cell is going in and maybe the th400, just gotta see where we are at then.

Man heads up aint cheap when you start off with a street car:cheers:
