BMR K Member - Regular or Lowering ???

I am putting in a new motor this winter & will put in a tubular K member while I am at it. I was just wondering what are the advantages & disadvantages of using the 1/2" lowering member?

The only advantage to the lowering k-member is if you need it for hood clearance. With your blower there is no need for it.

Well a lowering also helps with the cars CG so it can help with corner carving
