Tl;dr- I need a cai and MAF setup for my 2010 with Kenne Bell. KB no longer makes the parts I need.
Full story:
Just had a new engine built and after break-in put a smaller pulley on. Should be around 12-12.5 lbs boost. Was only able to get 9.5. The tuner says the culprit is the KB carb legal intake that’s on the car. Basically the blower isn’t getting enough air to make the boost.
Now I don’t care about smog anymore (moved to Texas) but KB says they no longer make the CAI/90mm MAF kit for the 2010, only for 05-09. Waiting for them to tell me why the ‘09 kit won’t fit my ‘10.
Getting to the point, I need a bigger MAF and intake tube. Been looking at other s/c companies, but most have the brake on the driver side, while KB is on the passenger side.
Any ideas? I am choking my new motor and nowhere near it’s potential.
