I went to weigh the 06 gt today. 3/4 of a tank of gas. It's a little heavier than i thought it'd be. About the only thing i haven't done to reduce weight is the k member. AC is gone, rear seats completely gone, stock seats replaced with corbeau, 1 piece drive shaft, tubular radiator support. I even removed the airbags, not to save weight so much as i wanted an aftermarket steering wheel and nobody rides in the passenger seat. I'd remove the passenger seat if it didn't look so stupid. I know my 305/35r19 rear tires are freaking heavy, but the rims are only 3lbs heavier than the stock 17's. I think the whipple weighs a lot more than i've been told, i also have a larger heat exchanger so more coolant. How else can i gut this pig? I know my splitter/bumper setup is heavier than stock. I want to drop another 100lbs of this thing somehow. Imagine what a whipple on a s550 weighs, yikes! I hear removing the doors saves 160lbs.![Emotions34 :yeahright: :yeahright:](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/emotions34.gif)
