I've been looking at getting the Roush 3 piece spoiler for my convertible. I was thinking it would look cool if the body shop took some filler to cover up the seams of the spoiler and sand it all nice and smooth before painting the spoiler and trunk area. That way the spoiler would look like part of the actual body instead of a bolt on.

Anyone have any pictures of something like that? Do you think it would look good?

I think the filler would crack fast.

Install. Enjoy!

The only proper way to mount the rear spoiler without it cracking is first sanding the place where the spoiler sets down to bare metal, then put a layer of fiberglass to the bare metal , then attach the spoiler and sand the spoiler to where the fiberglass will being molded to. if done properly it won't crack.. example below..even though it isn't the Roush spoiler, it will still give you an idea of the out come..
