The former owner put some black coating on the taillights and high mount stop. I'll admit it looks cool, but dims the brake lights too much in my opinion, causing a hazard. I replaced the high mount stop with a cheap LED one from Amazon. Not bright enough. I just ordered a LED bulb for the high mount stop from super bright LEDs. Can anyone suggest a way to remove the black coating? Perhaps I could just take it off of the center stop light. Other suggestions are also welcome.
