I've had my 06GT for 9 years and 207k miles. The engine has given me ZERO problems, not even from the cam phasers. I trust this car completely as a DD but stop and go traffic is wearing thin on my patience and I'm yearning for an auto. And just a new ride in general.

The only thing that appeals to me is a 2011/2012 GT with a 6R80. I prefer the looks better than the 13/14 model.

Low mileage 2011/2012 auto's are getting hard to come by. Most of the ones listed for a reasonable price have greater than 50k miles on them.

Anything in particular I should I worry about engine/transmission related with a stock (unmodified appearing) high mileage 2011/12?

I ain't worried about suspension/brakes/driveline related stuff. I'm used to that.

i'm getting ready to turn 100,000 on my '12 GT. I haven't had any problems out of the engine or transmission at all. The drivetrain/trans is a bit noisy, but I think that's just the way they all are.

Like I said in another post, I tend to stay away from the first year a model comes out, so I'd go with a 12.
