I'm aware of the major differences between the 01-04 and 05-10 TR3650 but are there any differences in the bearing size for the input shaft, output shaft, and countershaft? I've researched and can't find any info on that one.

Reason being I've found a good deal on a rebuild kit for the 01-04 about $100 bucks cheaper than the kit for the 05-10. The 01-04 kit comes with the wrong rear seal but I ain't worried about that. The bearings and blocker rings are what I'm after.

The part number for the 01-04 is BK255WS and the part number for the 05-10 is BK255AWS.

There is usually a reason for the difference in price. IMSMR the early trans was a TR3550 compared to the TR 3650.

For all the work it takes to get a 3650 apart, spend the exta 100 on the right parts. The later model years have a higher torque rating.

Both are tr3650s but regardless I agree the op should get the one meant for the year trans he has.

Holy Shit. I've been researching and clicking everywhere for the past few days on BK255WS and BK255AWS. Every vendor has the exact same prices for both kits. They were probably all using the same supplier. Well today the prices jumped up over $100 bucks on both kits from all vendors. Every freakin one except AMAZON! So I ordered it about 5 minutes ago before the price jump kicked in, lol.

FYI, about 2 years ago on Amazon I scored a set of 4 Mickey Thompson SC-5 18x10 1/2 and 18x9 rims for $50 each. These normally go for around $180 each. I snatched them up and about 2 hours later Amazon upped the price back to $180 each.
