Laser is rare here as well, and can only be used from a stationary position. Any moving police vehicle will have Ka band radar.
Did you admit to speeding? What section of the V&T did they cite you under? Any points on your license already?
1-10 miles an hour over the speed limit = 3 points.
11-20 miles per hour over the speed limit = 4 points.
21-30 miles per hour over the speed limit = 6 points*.
31-40 miles per hour over the speed limit = 8 points*
41 mph + over the speed limit = 11 points*.
11 points means that your license will be suspended.
You need a lawyer.
didn't admit to it.
all i said was
i was not traveling that speed and asked to see the readout on the gun because i didn't believe it was accurate."
and no points or any other license issues, never even been pulled over.
1180b speeding.
Good move.
Another good move.
So your chances of losing your license for too many points is nill.
That doesn't seem to make much sense. Where you in a school zone?

Get a good lawyer and radar. But beware, as already mentioned, there useless against Laser's. Even NJSP are starting to use them. I just got lasered the other day going down the AC Expressway. I'm not sure why, but I never got pulled over even though I was doing 80. I'm guessing it was because I just got over into the middle lane or the spilt second I had to slam on my breaks did the trick.
My other suggestion would be to start (if your not already) going to the race track. Get it all out of your system.
