bbr sounds really good and like i said i bet they make the most power

And I'll bet they don't! :roflmao:

I don't care bout drivability that much... I want a nasty sound with good power

You should try driving a car with a real aggressive cam profile. The real bad ones are a total pain to drive if you have a manual. I once drove a car where you had to basically slip the clutch until 3000RPM and then you could let go completely, otherwise, it would buck and the car would leap forward and back. Kinda like when someone doesn't know how to drive a manual so not only can you not drive the car properly, but everyone around you thinks you're an idiot.

All I'm saying is, don't get a mod that you'll love at first and then start to hate. If you're not going all out on a crazy track beast, why make life hard on yourself? All the cams you mentioned are just about the same thing, in the same price range, with the same gains, and similar qualities. It's a toss-up really. I partially went with the Hot Rods also because it's a Ford Product--not that it matters, but it makes me happy that way. It's cheaper than the other two, it's tried-and-true, and you have people with very little mods running them (like me) and you have guys with 500hp cars running the very same hot rod cams. Sounds like a winner to me, but as are the other two options.

If you're looking for a new email tune with it, I cannot recommend AmericanMuscle enough for the Hot Rods. Mine fired right up and never had a problem with it.

Your right no one can unless a direct comparison is done, but i still stand behind my claim that the Bbr stage 1 is a better cam

So, you're conceding that you can't prove your claim, but you'll continue to endorse it--despite knowing it may very well not be true?

This is my take on it.If BBR does your tuning go with BBR cams,if AM go with hot rods,if brenspeed then detroit rockers. If dyno tuning just get which ever one you can get for the cheapest price.I'll bet unless you are F/I or have ported heads they'll be within 5hp of one another.

Well i kmow fot a fact that Bbr stage 1 is better than a hot rod since i have had both cams in my car and the Bbr made almost 10. HP over the hot rod...only variable is the Detroit rocker and I doubt its better

It all depends on what you're looking for. Each cam sounds a little different. I'm a fan of big lopey cams but I've heard some cars that sound like crap because they have excessive cam lope. Now my Harley would sound awesome with a retarded cam in it because that's the way I want it to sound and it has drag pipes.

I personally searched a lot and decided that since I wanted NSR cams I would get FRPP Hot Rods. I had a good deal from AM.com at the time so I got them. It's an extremely noticeable difference from stock and I will say the Hot Rods add power mostly after 3k rpm. If you're going for all out power then picking a NSR cams isn't the best choice anyways.

Given the money I had at the time and what I was looking for I was extremely pleased with my Hot Rods. I am currently at 380hp and still need to install my UDPs. I'm actually kind of worried since I want to be at 450rwhp when I eventually get my Saleen Supershaker and I think I will be closer to 500rwhp if I don't detune it. Maybe that means I could go back to 87 octane again :)

"almost 10 HP" is completely negligible. You can attribute that to so many factors that it's not even a measurable actual gain.

We can tune for all cams. No issues what so ever. Bama can as well.

Jesus with the pissing match in here. Just shut the fuck up. :deadhorse2:

OP, just pick one. You stated that you're going more for sound than anything, so don't worry yourself about "which one makes the most power" between those three. They're all pretty similar in that regard, and you can't really go wrong either way for an NSR cam.
