I know this has been talked about before, but I figured I'd pass this deal on to others. Roush has pairs of 2011+ calipers and brackets available for $75 shipped, and rotors for $50 shipped. This allows you to go from the stock 12.4 inch rotor to the 2011+ stock 13.2 inch rotor. You can reuse your own calipers and pads if you wish. The brackets alone are worth more than the $75 I paid. My calipers are at 110k miles, so I think it will be worthwhile to replace them as well. This is also a great way to get stuff powder coated or painted without down time.

Pads are the same size and moved away from the hub. It allows for more brake torque and the larger rotor allows for more heat dissipation.

The glory of doing this too is that the parts are so incredibly cheap. The take off rotors, brackets, and calipers are cheaper than buying the brackets alone from the dealer. The whole set up is the same price as the cheapo rotors you get at the parts store. I just checked my local store and they are $59 per for the brake best + tax. This whole set up cost me $132. Being local to Roush, I had to pay sales tax. For everyone else, it will be $125 shipped. So for $7 more, you get way more OEM stuff.

Not gonna be able to do anything this month but thanks for the info. I think I'll do this with some Hawk pads or something next month.

Just when my front rotors were taking a crap! Anything for the rear?? I might jump on this

I looked. The rears are all the same, so no take offs.

The only factory rear upgrade are the rear brakes off of a 2013+ GT500. They use the same calipers just bigger rotors. I think it's a 13" rotor also.

The '13 GT500 upgrade is a little more stout than you might want for this front rotor upgrade. The '13 uses 13.8" rear rotors, you also have to remove your axels to get at your current rear caliper brackets to remove them and swap them for the '13 GT500 rear caliper brackets. You'll want to use the '13 GT500 calipers as well, or the '11-'13 GT rear calipers. The pad size is different than the 05-10 GT or GT500.

The pad size is different? I thought it was the same caliper except that the newer ones had a bit more clearance to them

They always restock on those. I ordered my rear rotors and I was on the fence about getting the calipers but I got a good deal on used brembos.

My stuff is on the truck for delivery today. I'm considering putting them on this weekend, but I'd really like to paint everything, and I'm considering getting some Boss 302 brake lines as well.
