I'd like to put a JLT oil separator on my 09 GT. However, I have fuel rail covers on the car. Another member in my situation cut a hole in the cover with a hole saw for the canister to sit in. I'd rather not resort to that just yet. While I was checking out JLT's website, I noticed that the separator for the 5.0s has longer hoses, and that I may be able to orient it to clear the cover. The question is, does the 3v and the 5.0 have common intake and cam cover fittings for the PCV? Does anyone have any insight? Thanks!

The canaster sits lower than the fuel rail , are you sure it will be in the way of the cover?

I think so, because the current hose runs across the top end of the fuel rail cover. I would need to lengthen the hoses to clear the cover.
