Okay so i instaled the 16'' mishimoto slim fan today to free up some more room for the turbo stuff.

For reference the slim fan has a fan diameter of 15 and 1/2 inches. and flow just under 2000scfm.
The stock fan has a 17" fanblade diameter and flows about the same.

The stock fan and shroud is heavy! I didnt have a scale but the the slim fan weighs at least half of the stocker.

My question is depending on which way i wire the slim it will spin cw or ccw. The stock fan spun cw so i wired the slim to spin cw as well which pulls air through the rad and blows it away towards the engine.
Is this correct? Or should it blow air towards the radiator/front of the car?

Here are some before pics so u can see how much room i cleared up.

I reused the stock temp speed controller so the fan will operate high/low like stock for now.

Which way does the air flow through it when the fan is off? The fan should blow in the same direction.

Cool i wasnt 100% sure, i though it should pull air through as well just wanted to make sure, thanks guys. It makes sense this way other wise it would blow through hot underhood engine air while driving.

LOL-how did you know? I am reading about it and don't know if it will help with a stock radiator...guess it can't hurt and it is less weight!

Cheapest I have found for the fan and the mounting kit is $92.08 shipped.
