What are you guys using for breathers on the stock valve covers.
ie K&N & what hardware did you need to connect them.
I can't find any info at all for them.

i had the oil cap breather from CFM, and K&N breathers on both sides. K&N makes ones that fit right on w/ hose clamps 3/8 on the passenger side 5/8 on the driver side. but i switched them out for a oil separator and still have the oil cap breather.

Why did you switch from the breathers? Too messy?

What's the point of the having the breather on your oil cap? Notice any difference with anything?

that was it exactly. there would be minimal blowby onto the passenger side valve cover, and i would wipe it off w/ a rag every couple days. so i put in the oil separator and no blow by on the valve cover. i've read that the breathers are a good idea with FI to relieve pressure on the engine and main seal. i dont notice any difference with it on.

Who is CFM? I was thinking about looking for a oil filler cap with a breather or fabbing up one I can put on at the track.

I run a couple K&N breathers, each one clamped on to a 1/2" copper T fitting, inline with hoses clamped on both ends.

The setup is mainly for racing when I run max boost for longer periods of time, and want maximum pressure escape from the crankcase under high boost.

So you use that on the drivers side and on the passengers side you use the oil filler breather cap?

correct both sides the older ones with the blue hose coming from the bottom of the little filters had to be drilled to fit the larger tube on the drivers side but the ones i just picked up have a black hose and fit both sides just took a little persuasion

i know some complain about fumes ect. but honestly i never had a problem but have only been running 11lbs. , ....... i guess we will find out more in the coming weeks when i turn up the boost just a little bit lol
