First mod on my 5.0!

Ok, it's just a JLT catch can, but it's a start!

Think I spend too much time on the gas pedal?

This weekend I'll be adding a UMI panhard rod and Spohn LCAs that I got used here on the forum.

Anyone selling an adjustable upper and/or mount?

I have the strut brace, so you have to remove 4 nuts, then take the brace off. Lift the engine cover off and then remove the OEM PCV line. It's on there with plastic lock, simply move the little levers to the side and pull it off the nipples.

Then install the JLT lines/can.

Then replace the cover and brace.

Done! Literally less than 10 minutes.

68miles...

Emptied and then after 119 miles...

Emptied and then at 264miles...

It's already on the car.

My LCAs got here today. I'm putting them on tomorrow.

I'm trying to decide what tune I want to buy. I'm leaning toward Livernois.

Nice....Yeah I would say you have a heavy foot. I get 19-20 in my modded 4.6L

One thing I will say in my defense, I live in Northeastern PA. It's all hills and mountains.

That will have a slight affect on gas mileage Im sure.

Let me know how you like it. I leave for Cali in couple days and will not have Internet or phone for about two weeks. Military rules for training. Soon get back I'm going to get a tune.

On good note might get ahold Patrick G see what he can do with this 5.0

I got a SCT from Livernois yesterday. Going to load the 93 octane tune now.

Hoping for some tire chirping shifts. The TM doesn't seem as "nannyish" as the G8, but it's bad.

In Sport mode, it spins them hard on the 1-2 now. With the AdvanceTrac completely off it can get a bit squirrelly on the 1-2!

90 comes up awfully quick...

Part throttle shifts are now nice and firm. Not jarring, but positive.

Throttle response is very good now. Before, even with 390lb-ft of torque, it felt dead under 3000-3500 rpm.
