That's about what those blocks are bring by them selves so I'd say that's a smoking deal.

Also this is on a pallet still loaded in the back of my van. So I might be willing to meet or deliver in the right situation.

Attachment photos aren't coming up here, so...

I'm interested in it without the flexplate, pistons, rods, and crank. Just the block, oil pump, main caps (marked if not already marked), rear seal/slinger plate, nuts/bolts/washers, and all the miscellanous parts you have to remove to pull out the junk.

With all that stuff removed, it should be light enough to ship in one of those heavy cardboard boxes (usually 1/2" or thicker) via UPS Ground. Less than 100lbs by then?

Cost to 76542?

Thanks,

Mike

I might consider just selling the block but a couple things. First i wouldnt sell just the block much cheaper than selling the short block because i would have to mess with pulling it apart than selling the parts. Second if i did sell just the block i would have to have payment before i loosen a bolt. Just for the fact if i pull it apart than the buyer has to back out (i understand things happen) than i am stuck trying to sell it apart. Sending me payment first is no risk as my reputation is not worth money.
I will look into what it would take to pull it apart and find out what the crank etc is worth.
Also like i said it is already loaded in my van that gets 20plus mpg. So if u are within 5-6 hrs from here we can talk meeting or?

hmm... I am close. If this doesn't go by the end of the week I am going to get in touch with you. I don't really NEED another block, but it is always good to have one.

If someone wants to scoop this block up, you can have it sent to us to be built to handle 1,000hp for around $3,295 plus shipping. Just a thought : )

Well the wife wants it out of the van. I really didnt want to ship but Monday I am boxing it up. I will not know exact shipping until it is boxed but it probabley is a couple hundred to ship. Anyone that has a idea of what shipping could be feel free to post. If you want just the block shoot me your offer . Here is the order...local or pick up First , shortblock shipped second , Block 3rd. I am boxing up the shortblock on Monday unless I get a local buyer or a offer for the block itself that is good enough to make me pull it apart. I must get the payment for the block prior to it being disassembled. Thanks guys

I've shipped a couple of bare blocks. FedEx ground was under $100. The whole shortblock will have to go freight because it's too heavy for anything else.
