[email protected] Fastest Blower 3V S197 Mustang!!!

Mike Dellisanti was down at ATCO dragway today for some testing, just got reports back that he ran in the 8's for the first time today. The first run off the trailer would have been the best of the day. Mike planted a 1.27 60' time and ran it through the 1000' mark going 9.01@138. Everything looked good so he went out on a 2nd run and spun the tires, the front end picked up so hard when the wheelie bars hit it caused the weight transfer to nose forward. Still the car ran 8.99@152, Mikes first pass ever in the 8's. After some front strut adjustment the car went out for a 3rd and final run, with a much better 60' down to a 1.29 now Mike ran a [email protected] out the back door!

Mikes cas has a JDM 302E longblock custom build with Roush TVS 10 Rib conversion making 23-24 psi boost! The car dynoed out at 815 RWHP and 668 TQ last night and all the tuning was done by my father Jim@JDM

Congrats to Mike on a new personal best and as far as I know the Fastest 3V Supercharged S197 Mustang!

That's crazy fast for that setup. ATCO is rocking this time of year. I wish I could get some of that air here.

Damn I didn't realize a 2.3 could spin that fast to make that much boost. How much does the car weight. R the iats out of control. Badass though that's unbelievable for such a small power adder.

Car weighs about 3400lbs with driver, has the stock K member installed for NHRA approval. Going to do some testing in Gainseville next week with the car. Hoping for 8.80's

I want to hear more about this car also. a lot of people talk trash about the roush blower, 8 seconds is pretty frekkin ridiculous for a "shitty" blower.

I don't talk trash about the Roush blower- UPR's JDM built & tuned 2010 GT runs 9s on DRs at 4000# with the Roush blower!

That's awesome but I thought JPC ran a 8.48 @ 162 mph with a Procharger F1r Blower setup in a 3V a while back in NMRA True Street...Only reason I know that stat is because I'm gunning for it in the future. Doesn't take anything away from this as it's VERY impressive and bad ass to see a Roush blower pull this off. So much for people ragging on them so much for a 3v!

Didn't they run Nitrous on that car as well tho? I remember it being pretty fast, just wasn't sure because its not posted on the 1/4 mile list here.

We are spinning the death out of the TVS, we have several Cobra Jets with the TVS that have been 8.60's so the TVS is certainley capable of "Big Blower" ET's

The car made 815 RWHP/660 TQ @ 24 psi boost, weighs about 3450 with driver. Kooks 1 7/8" primaires 3.5" collectors with H pipe, mufflers, and dumps. We are going to open header though. The car has some BMR suspension, 2014 Cobra Jet rear anti roll bar, Strange Breaks, built 8.8 rear, Rossler Turbo 400, JDM 302E longblock.

Not sure...maybe they can chime in on that. It's impressive either way. I wouldn't have guessed a Roush blower would put up those kind of numbers on the track.

we ran a 8.76 no Juice on radials back in like 09 with a YSI
