tranny keeps grinding at high rpms

I have a 2005 mustang 4.6 3v.This is my 3rd tranny and 3rd clutch. Whenever i try to down shift it grinds or at high rpms. I have changed the shifter and most components around the tranny. I have just installed a Mcleoud rxt clutch and flywheel and a rebuilt tranny and same thing. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated thanks

Will the tr6060 or any of those 6 speed transmissions work with my mcleoud rxt clutch? I built the motor with an teksid block so I have a 8 bolt crank now.

Yes comes in both 10 and 26 spline

You will need to change the clutch discs from 10 spline to 26 spline.

You can send back to mcleod and have the clutch rehubbed if it is low enough miled

I went through two tr3650 and when I literally blew up my 3rd gear on a short pull, I scoop up a tr6060!

Where can you find 6060s at and what is the price including DS? I am having no issues with my 3650 I just put in but if it ever blows up I want this to be my next swap.

I was a rare one as well, I put 35k miles and lots of dyno passes and track passes at 650-700rwtq revving to 7k rpms and had no issues with my 3650, none at all.

But I still made the switch to the 6060 after all that... and I lost 4th gear synchro in the 6060 already...lol

My TR3650 was flawless...I pulled it out at 64K miles to make room for a brand new drivetrain (new motor with T-56M XL).

My 3650 owed me nothing. RST with CHE torque limiters spraying a 200 shot on DR's

3rd gear proved to be the weak point

Problem solved.
