05 mustang turbo

I installed a on 3 performance turbo in my 05 mustang did the program injectors fuel pump everything it needed after I was done it started sounded good everything and then I drove the car to the part store not even a mile from my house both ways on the way back the moter grenade it just got to 7 pounds of boost and that was it can any one explain why

It was the tune that came with the program standard tune from deoblo

This is the first time ever doing a turbo was trying to just have it until Monday it was going to go on a dyno to be fine tuned

the fact you drove it on a canned tune with a turbo and different fuel system, is what killed it....either get it custom tuned via mail from first start up, or never ever get into boost....preferably trailer it

Wow. Just wow. I'm sorry. This will sound like I'm being a dick. You're a fucking moron. Anybody that knows anything about cars would know better than to drive a car not setup for a turbo with a turbo making any amount of boost.

It was the standard tune from deoblo

It was for start up that's y I don't know y it detonated

standard diablo tuner IS NOT setup for a turbo setup....

saying "it was for start up" doesnt mean its ready to be driven.

Diablo is junk to start with. 99% of people run SCT. Did you tell diablo what injectors and pumps you were using and that you were putting on a turbo? Anytime you install any form of FI you do not go into boost until the tune is spot on. A start up tune is just that, a tune to let you start it and normally get it on a trailer to get a tune. Did you do any research at all

Yes, get a proper base tune so that you can get a proper dyno tune.

talk to lito for a proper tune setup, or atleast someone who knows what their doing not just a plug and play setup

thanks for the help obviously had to do some more work as far as they told me it was for the start up I was able to drive it obviously got to look further into it but thanks for all the help

The tune is the most important part of modding modern fuel injected cars.

Thanks I found one complete for 1150 with low miles but thinking about getting the forged crank rods and pistons to strand hen the bottom end what is your suggestions
