Dude makes you feel any better I was running a aluminator, with factory heads, and had a similar issue except shortblock was fine but BUT I had 2 valves one on driver and passgenger side that looked like yours and I also had 2 plugs that was screwed majorly. Oh and Grats on leaving your hood on while pulling the motor. I had to ditch my long tubes BBK and my hood to get my motor out.

Dang man that sucks bad, you shouldn't have that happen again with a built block. Seeing the photos makes me nervous when I get my car out on the streets though.

Man that sucks. Well time to build it better and stronger.

Today, my car gave me code on my Diablo saying it running lean. So I need to Adam to check it out. It's been running great for a long time on his last tune.

Yeah you missed it... lol

Anyways, after completing my build there was a problem that my tuner couldn't figure out what it was. So he came over one day and was datalogging on his laptop so we could look at different variables during different times.

Well during a WOT log the boost gauge jumped to 17lbs of boost and then boom. Come to find out it was a clogged cat, that eventually blew itself out along with my motor.
