custom door panels

so i didnt like the factory leather door panels, wanted some blue. but still keeping the dark look.

here r my progress pics.

the color.

its a marine vinyl, looks like leather.

just set the blue vinyl on, just doing some last minute trimming, should be on soon...

Definitely wanna see the finished product. Looks good so far. Good woman to help out with car stuff, my fiancé helps me as well.

im getting away with it because its crafts ;) lol.

got the vinyl dowm, gonna let the adhesive dry and bond then do final trimming, remove tape and push the edges in... any imperfections u see should come out

almost done, all pics so far were done with my iphone4 and the flash makes the blue a littke brighter than it really is.. we are finishing up it now, and ill try and take a few pics with the slr.... im an ameture tho..

That was a really good idea! This will give me great insight as I am doing the same project right now. I was not going to use foam, but am glad I seen this post first.
