Well I say it's interesting but anyway... As I was taking pictures of the 302S, a younger gentleman (probably 14) walked up to me, in track suit and all, and asked if I needed anything. We started talking and told me he had something I'd probably want to see. That's when he opened up his trailer and show me the Terlingua. Interior completely gutted, caged, etc. with battle scars and all. He had told me it started out as his mom's fun toy. She let it sit for a while with only 2k miles and his dad started slowly making it into a track car. Now its how you see it. It's crazy to think it started out as a Factory Terlingua with the supercharged V6 and now its this monster with the Roush Yates motor and all. I've always wanted to see a real Terlingua and to think I probably saw the coolest one.
Oh they also told me how, before he passed, Carrol Shelby had heard about their car and wanted to meet them and possibly take the car off their hands...if I remember correctly. Could all just be "story" but thought it was pretty cool regardless.
