Got my Corbeau CR1’s in. Took about 4 hours to do both seat and harnesses. I even removed the passenger bladder sensor from stock seats and inserted into the Corbeau. I though the scan tool I had would be able to read the advanced DTC’s of the airbag but it doesn’t so I need to take to dealer and have them read the codes for me. More than likely it’s because the Occupancy Sensor Module was not reset as it’s supposed to. Once that’s done I hope the dash light will go away. I can verify that he bladder on passenger side works since the “Air Bag Off” light turns off when I sit in it.

I added the harness to the existing mounting location for stock seats, I also left the stockers in since some clubs only allow factory belts or vehicle specific harness belts. I added the tail strap to the mounting point for the rear seat inertia reel which is below the rear window. This keeps the belt at a almost less than 5 degree up slope which is perfect. Here is one pic, more to come.

Very comfortable seats, great support, 100 times better than stock. I sat in the Boss Recaro’s and these feel great as well. I had the option to get the Recaro’s but at 3K I don’t see them being worth the extra 1.5K. Though the side airbag feature may be worth it to some.

looks nice. did you mount the seat track position sensors back onto the rail?

I removed it and connected it to the harness. I didn't actually mount it any where since I didn't think I had to. So now it's just connected. How do I mount it properly?

How much do they weigh compared to the stock seats?

Not sure but I can check tonight. Definitely lighter. My stockers we power and they are heavy. Down side I can't gain weight or I won't fit lol

I do have one question. Since I added the new harness to the existing mounting locations while keeping the stock belts in. What is the acceptable amount of turns to tight? I managed 7 on each.

Damn man those look great. I was considering these but I am SOLD now. I know you posted it for me before, but can you post the link where you got them again (with the submarine slot) or send it to me in a PM. I forgot to bookmark it :(

I forget exactly how I mounted mine, I know it is just a magnet and the seats mount and slide comparably to the stock ones, so I SWAG'ed the install of the sensor in about the same location and zip tied them in.

as for the bolts, are you talking how tight to torque them in? if so, just don't marine them on. just enought to make sure they don't loosen. I used blue lock tight and torqued them to about 50 ft/lbs. it's their shear force strength that keeps those in place and from breaking.

as for weight, they are about half the stock weight of the motorized leather ones. (you drop about 50 lbs)

They really are comfortable and they hold you in like no other. The one bad thing is that you can’t reposition yourself on really long drives since the thigh bolsters limit your movement, that however is what makes them so great for aggressive and track driving.

I bought the 2011 gt base model in hopes of putting in aftermarket seats, I have done all the other mods to my car myself, but after seeing this thread, I dont really think I want to do a seat swap..lol. Anyone know if these are lighter then the cloth seats by chance? I REALLY want some aftermarket microsuede seats, it just looks pretty complicated becasue of all the sensors, mounts/sliders, air bags, and harness's. I looked at that site you posted OP, and DAMN thosee Microsuede A4's are CHEAP!! You had to get your seat mounts/sliders, and harness's from somewhere else didnt you?
