Got my Corbeau CR1’s in. Took about 4 hours to do both seat and harnesses. I even removed the passenger bladder sensor from stock seats and inserted into the Corbeau. I though the scan tool I had would be able to read the advanced DTC’s of the airbag but it doesn’t so I need to take to dealer and have them read the codes for me. More than likely it’s because the Occupancy Sensor Module was not reset as it’s supposed to. Once that’s done I hope the dash light will go away. I can verify that he bladder on passenger side works since the “Air Bag Off” light turns off when I sit in it.
I added the harness to the existing mounting location for stock seats, I also left the stockers in since some clubs only allow factory belts or vehicle specific harness belts. I added the tail strap to the mounting point for the rear seat inertia reel which is below the rear window. This keeps the belt at a almost less than 5 degree up slope which is perfect. Here is one pic, more to come.
Very comfortable seats, great support, 100 times better than stock. I sat in the Boss Recaro’s and these feel great as well. I had the option to get the Recaro’s but at 3K I don’t see them being worth the extra 1.5K. Though the side airbag feature may be worth it to some.
